Kicking Up My Heels

Holy COW!  I thought this stamp was just the cutest thing and knew I wanted it upon sight.  When you get to thinking about it, it can come in handy for a lot of different occasions.  Kicking up our heels for your Graduation, Birthday and for an accomplishment of some sort.  Its from La-La Land Crafts.  I’ll be checking them out to see what else they have. *smile*

026  This card will be attached to a black and white checkerboard gift box for a friend who is graduating from college.

I used Prismacolor Watercolor pencils for my coloring.  For that little added bling I used medium sized black half pearls at each scalloped edge.  I tried so many different layouts, but settled on something plain not to take away from the stamped image.  I did it again……..used wired ribbon.
Remember…it will be attached to the outside of a gift and may be the only ribbon used.  I’ll have to plan around with that.

Mooooving to the inside ~

The sentiment was computer generated.  I just pulled “kicking up my heels” out of my hat ~ because that’s just what this little guy was doing and it seemed to fit the occasion.

Supplies needed ~ all are SU! unless otherwise noted

  • Card stock – C. Cake, W. White and B. Black
  • Stamp – La La Land Crafts
  • Misc. - Ribbon and Black Half Pearls are from my stash
  • Prismacolor Watercolor pencils and Polka Dots EF

Just a quick post today….this stamp was too cute not to share with you!

In light of the world events……please stay safe and stay on your toes!  I feel anything could happen for those to retaliate.

Have a GREAT DAY!  And as always, thank you so much for stopping by!!!!!
