Pre-made Die Cuts

Hi there to all, so glad you found the time to come back!  Today’s card is about having to come up with something really fast and still have the beauty of 3D, clarity and charm.  What do you think?

Remember Sage Shadow cardstock?  Yes, I am still working on some of the old stuff.  But I’m so glad I had it on hand…..it went perfectly with these precut die images.  The butterfly was all one piece, I did cut a couple slits to give it a little more dimension to the wings.  The only extra touch was to add the Thank You and twine, which, I thought set it off.

I really tried to capture the sparkle on the wings and belly of this bird, also, on the butterfly.  But you all know my photography skills are by no means the best and I couldn’t manage to get it into the picture.  It’s not heavy, just enough to catch your eye.

Inside was quick too ~

This could be considered a masculine card, but it’s one that I wouldn’t mind be on the receiving end of, the heart doily adds a touch of girly!!!

Well January has just about bit the dust, only one more month of those ‘longer’ winter days!!!  I’m good with that….*smiles*!

Very pretty card. I really like the raffia added around the bird. And the inside is perfect!

Hey I am all about easy and gorgeous at the same time! :D And this fits the bill perfectly! I love the textured background and am SO sad that they retired Sage Shadow. It and Mellow Moss were two of my favorites.

Linda, Linda, Linda...you never cease to amaze me! First off, I thought your bird was a stuffed one...lol. It looks real and is so pretty on this card! Secondly, this looks anything but simple to me. Absolutely gorgeous, my friend!

You are so right about the Sage Shadow being perfect for these images. That softness never looked better than it does right here on your gorgeous card. I'll have to take a second look at using die cuts if all it takes is a couple of slits in the butterfly wings to create this masterpiece. Very pretty, Celia

Love that bird! Very nice card with all the detail. And it is so nice the way you finish off the inside of your card as well. I don't tend to do that but it really makes it all the more special when you do.
