On The Soft Side

Hello to all and a very happy Thursday to you!

My closest and dearest friend’s mother will be turning 92 soon and I wanted to make her a special birthday card.

I kept it on the soft side. . .

        029

After I finished this card it dawned on me……I never used a bow.  Surprisingly enough I didn’t really miss it!  *smiles*

        023

I made the flowers from a couple different punches I had laying around.  Just made a few snippets here and there, cupped them and they were done.  The polka dot EF folder was used on the pink flower.  And 92 was mounted on a heart.

Really simple inside ~

        017

This angle does give you a better view of the flowers and their simplicity.

Happy Birthday Ms. Elizabeth, I hope you enjoy your card!

I hope you have a wonderful upcoming weekend, the weather here has been so nice you wouldn’t know it was during the winter months!

I’m only a click away for any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. *smiles*

Thanks for visiting!

Lovely, lovely. I would love to use the idea for a wedding card this June. I don't recognize the die used on the front panel. Any chance you'll share? You inspire me often. What a nice way to wake up.

Oh Linda, this is just gorgeous! It's like a wedding in Narnia. what did you use to emboss the front of the card. Reminds me of one other that Carla used last year. I liked it enough to buy one from England!

I am sure you made some 92 years young lady very happy with this card!!
I also would like to know if the front of the card was die cut, it is just so beautiful!!!

Ditto all the above comments! Stunning is putting it mildly. It's so sweet of you to make such a tactile card so she not only sees it but feels it as well. I imagine this will be the highlight of her day! Jumped over from Pinterst to find out whoo made this & how.. So isnthe front panel a mix of ef or what, don't recognize it. Blessings, btw, you are gifted,

What a beautiful card Linda. I would love to buy the die for the front of the card, please can you tell me if it is a stampin up die? If so, I might just have to search for a demonstrator in the UK :-)

Thank you again

Sylvia

Linda, I realize that this is an older post, but I need to comment anyway. I love this card, this embossing/cutout folder is something that I have been looking for. I read quite a few of the previous posts but didn’t see where you might have shared the name and the company that made it. Are you willing to, I’d love to own this! Thanks Linda!
