A Mouse In The House . . .

Not literally of course, but as promised I’ve done a few cards this week using a little punch art mice!  I hope you enjoy them.  *smile*

I chose dressing one card up and then dressing one card down ~

Here’s the up ~

      020

It’s strawberry time here and I just couldn’t resist putting a little mouse in the works.  He was sooooo easy, a couple punches with the 1/2” circle, a little sponging with the 3/8” circle (Itty Bitty Pack) and a tail from the Swirl Scribbles completed him in no time.  And can’t forget the Heart of Hearts die for the strawberry.

Peeking a little closer ~

Okay, there’s a little story behind my sentiment.  This particular one is computer generated……BECAUSE, when I ordered the Bouquet Pascal from last years Occasion’s Mini, I was so focused on the little girl and the dogwood sprig that I DID NOT pay attention to which set I was ordering and ended up with the French set……lesson learned here! lol  So my choices were to print one out the best I could with the closest font or use French.  *smiles*

My little lacey flowers were actually cut from another ribbon that had these attached.  I just wanted the tiny flowers, not the whole ribbon, a 1/4” circle was added for the center.

Here’s the card dressed DOWN ~

Actually either one works for me.  *smile*

It’s always nice when you can get more mileage out of one card….even better when you order the right stamp set!  LOL

Here’s an Eeeeeek! peek at tomorrows mouse, or is it mice???

As always thanks so much for stopping by, hope to see you tomorrow!

Oh my gosh Linda, these are so adorable! I really love the "dressed up" version! Is that a new embossing folder? It is beautiful! I like the simpler version too, I just love the embossing on the first card!

How cute is that little mouse! Sweet sweet card! And I confess I ordered a French set once by mistake - but it was a Valentine one so I just went with it - French is romantic right ?

I love it!! I'm sure hoping the EF is in the new catalog!!!! (If not, please share the name.) Also, THANKS for admitting about ordering a French set. I did that with the Sweet Scoops set and was SO mad at myself. I didn't have the heart to exchange it with SU! because it was totally my error. Somehow it helps to know others make mistakes like that as well :o) Looking forward to tomorrow mouse!

Very cute! The dressed up version is so pretty, but I like the dressed down version better. It allows your punch arr to be the focal point! Very clever...

Hi Linda, just stumbled on your website and saw this adorable card with the strawberries and little mouse...so cute. I was wondering what embossing folder you used in your dressed up version of your card. Thanks for sharing.
