A Little Monkey Business . . .

I wanted to share a couple Valentine cards that I made for my two Grandsons, both very similar with only minor changes.

This was Jacobs ~

         033

See those two hearts. . .his little arms open up wide

       031

032  025

Jacob and his Daddy are great sports fans……Jacob’s needed a football, I placed it just on the inside of the card.  Remember the border I did on yesterday’s card, I did the same thing here.  Scored all four edges.

Here is Jarrett’s ~

         037

I wanted to make Jarrett’s a little more school oriented, thus the numbers.  That’s not dotted ribbon on the left of the card.  I used my white gel pen and just made dashes on Early Espresso cardstock.  Did the same scoring to frame up the card front.  On both cards ‘love you  this much’ was hand written with a white gel pen.

044041

My inspiration for these two cards came from a candy holder that was created by the very talented Sharon White at http://www.sharonsscrappyspace.com/.  I had to make a few modifications to make him work on a card, but was please with the overall result.  You need to check Sharon out, her punch art is amazing.

AS ALWAYS, I appreciate your visits!  Thanks for stopping by!
