What started this card was circles and color. I chose the ‘With All My Heart’ stamp set, but wanted to stay away from flowers. Although I believe this is a flower stamp, I tried to put a little different twist on it.
I knew that I would use ribbon on this card and being most of my ribbon is of the solid nature, I went with the Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon because of its colors. Thus, giving me my card color combo made up of all Bold Brights (retired last year). The stamp I used was 1 1/4’ in diameter. I just happened to have a 1 1/2” diameter scalloped punch (Marvy) that worked perfectly together with the 1 1/4” circle punch that I used on the stamped piece. The smaller center circle is the 1/2” circle punch. The ‘Just 4 You’ is from the ‘Hodgepodge Happiness’ stamp set and were popped up with dimensionals. All stamped pieces were heat embossed with clear or white embossing powders.
I tried all that I could and could not tone down the pink shadow on the inside of this card. I never use a flash and can only think the sun was just too bright coming in from the window on that side of the card. As you can see the front is just fine. The half scallop circles inside match the full scallop circles on the outside.
