We finally made it….one more day and another weekend is upon us, YEAH!
Today is also the start of another PPA Challenge. Their theme is – ‘What’s Your Signature Style-anything goes’, I got tickled, do you think mushrooms will qualify?
Andrea Walford had showcased a 3D project that she had made not so long ago. It was NOT the project that caught my eye; but, it was these cute little mushrooms that I noticed. I had to try it. *smile*
So here they are….what do ya think?? Cute, huh? This little ‘bug me anytime’ was a stamp set that I bought at a yard sale. I think I paid $2 or $3 dollars for it and they had never been used. I think the Stampin’ Up date was 2007. I thought he was stinkin cute too! Would you like to see the inside?
I like showing you the inside from a slight angle that also shows a little of the front. I usually forget to tell you what I pop up with dimensionals and this way you can actually see what I’ve done whether I tell you or not. Notice I stamped the little bug without the words.
The mushrooms are nothing but different size circle punches and what size you use depends on how tall your mushroom is. You just have to play around with it. There was no tutorial for these little guys (they were not the spotlight) so I just guessed. If you notice, there’s plenty of sponging going on here as well. I really liked the Baja Breeze with the Real Red. I am trying to think what else I can do with these colors.
Supplies needed ~ all are SU! unless otherwise noted
- Card stock – B. Breeze, R. Red, W. White textured and smooth, O. Olive. and C. Cake
- Tools – Circle punches, Marvy Scalloped Punch, MS, Textured Plate Kit #4
- Inks – C. Cake, O. Olive and B. Breeze
- Misc. – Dimesionals, Ribbon and halfbacks are from my stash
There’s a lot going on next week, you need to plan to come back by for a visit. The Pals have got their June hop and I’m the guest artist at the PPA. Until Monday stay COOL and you can ‘Bug Me Anytime’ with questions. Have a good one!!

This is so 'my' Linda!!! Mary's right your mushrooms steal the show. I so love your eye for detail...(on every card) the silver brads, the grassy layers, and of course your signature bows!!! Love the sponging too. And your cards are always crisp and clean, even with sponging... how do you do that? I love your bug and how you placed her on he inside too. Hugs, C
