Here’s the Christmas Tree card I promised yesterday. I like it and
hope you do too!
Look closely, I began by stamping an image from the set ‘Lovely As A Tree’. That gave me my tree trunk, a shape to go by and a bit of pine filler in the background. It’s much better by heat embossing it with clear EP, the image was originally stamped in Always Artichoke. Awe man….how’d I do that, the sentiment is one letter off center!! Leave it to me for that ONE little thing to go wrong!
You know that pine punch that you all like so well? It took about 12 punched pieces glued up and down the middle of the stamped image to get enough for the look I wanted. I then randomly scattered a few 1/8” and 1/4” circles about for a little bling using SU! Red Glitter paper.
Merry Christmas is from the set ‘Teeny Tiny Wishes’ leaving off the dotted bottom line. Textured Whisper White cardstock was used as my card base.
I liked the tree so well I tried it on an EF that I happened to have on hand still using the textured cardstock……you may like this one better.
Looking a little closer ~
They both have the same inside ~
Hope you liked my Christmas Tree Card it sure was a snap to do! That’s my kind of card: clean, simple and easy.
So this ends another week for me, I hope I was able to inspire you in some small way on your next card…..*smiles*
Take Care and Happy Stamping!!
