A Clean and Simple Christmas Tree

Here’s the Christmas Tree card I promised yesterday.  I like it and
hope you do too!

      010

Look closely, I began by stamping an image from the set ‘Lovely As A Tree’.  That gave me my tree trunk, a shape to go by and a bit of pine filler in the background.  It’s much better by heat embossing it with clear EP, the image was originally stamped in Always Artichoke.  Awe man….how’d I do that, the sentiment is one letter off center!!  Leave it to me for that ONE little thing to go wrong!

You know that pine punch that you all like so well?  It took about 12 punched pieces glued up and down the middle of the stamped image to get enough for the look I wanted.  I then randomly scattered a few 1/8” and 1/4” circles about for a little bling using SU! Red Glitter paper.

Merry Christmas is from the set ‘Teeny Tiny Wishes’ leaving off the dotted bottom line. Textured Whisper White cardstock was used as my card base.

I liked the tree so well I tried it on an EF that I happened to have on hand still using the textured cardstock……you may like this one better.

They both have the same inside ~

Hope you liked my Christmas Tree Card it sure was a snap to do!  That’s my kind of card: clean, simple and easy.

So this ends another week for me, I hope I was able to inspire you in some small way on your next card…..*smiles*

Take Care and Happy Stamping!!

Oh I love this tree! But I don't have any of those elements. Love that Embossing Folder! Why don't we sell something so elegant now?
I don't recognize your branch. Is that also retired?

I LOVE IT!!!! I must copy this one :o) I do prefer the first card. I think the green border just adds another pop! I'm so excited because I have ALL of these pieces already :o) TFS!!! Have a great day/weekend :o)

Ooh, just a thought . . . punch out an extra 'ornament', place it next to Merry Christmas and use a silver pen to draw a 'hook'. Then your Merry Christmas being off-centered will look like you did it on purpose ;o)

Both versions are fabulous...what a creative idea to layer the branches on top of the stamped tree...and the glitter ornaments tucked in.... Now, I'm another of those who is not familiar with this punch, can you please share where you got it - retired SU!...??? Love the idea the lady had about punching out an extra ornament and adding to 'center' your MC...

Both are very lovely and elegant. The one with the ef is my favorite. I would also like to know where you got the punch and if/where it's still available

I love this card. So Pretty! I know my card club girls would love it too. What is the punch called and where do they carry it? Is it a retired SU punch?

What beautiful perfect Christmas trees, Linda!! Love both layouts, hard to pick a favorite. My question is also about the punch, what brand? TFS and Hugs, Pauline

Looks like the Martha Stewart branch punch to me. It's been retired for quite some time now and I'm so disappointed. I've been looking for it for at least a year now.

This is beautiful. I finally found the Martha Stewart branch punch on eBay for a decent price and can't wait for it to arrive to CASE this card. I tried doing something similar with an svg file on my Cricut but it didn't turn out the greatest. I also love that embossing folder. Thanks again for sharing.

OMG, your cards are amazing. That tree will be on a few of my Christmas cards this year too. Your tree is totally awesome and I just love the white space. I so noticed that letter being one off from center... NOT!!! But, I relate. Either name the punch or send me enough to make 3 tree's. lol Hugs,
