Now that Spring has definitely Sprung, I was in a flower mode. *smile*
Here is a trio of flowers made with Stampin’ Ups Floral Fusion, Simple Flower and Cherry Blossom. Each was layered multiple times, edges sponged and then ‘all tied up’.
I love the blend of the colors: Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy and that wonderful Blush Blossom (now retired) card stocks.
Looking closer ~
Each flower has a different brad center and a leaf attached to it’s twine stem.
Last but not least ~
I attended a stamp show over the weekend and had met the friendliest bunch of girls. Here we all are! Too pooped to pop!
After shopping until we ‘dropped’, we all had a mouth watering dinner at Fresco’s. Here’s a look…
Everyone was from Virginia Beach, except Gulla (on the left, she was from Iceland) and are avid stampers.
Thanks for a wonderful day ladies! It was fun, I came home broke, full and tired! *smiles*

LOOKS LIKE FUN!!!! I see you over there on the right! Your card is lovely; I REALLY like that NQN one!!! I am going to have to pick your brain about how to do that one!
Such a pretty card with beautiful colors. I never thought to use the twine for a stem before. Gonna have to steal that idea for sure!! HOpe you don't mind!
This is just lovely Linda! Those flowers are gorgeous and I love the color combination! Love the doilies along the edge too, gives it a beautiful vintage look! I wish I could have made the Ocean City stamp show, I just couldn't get down there this year! Maybe next year and then I'll get to meet you!
Gorgeous layered flowers - and I think I could do these - hooray! And what a fun day out!
Linda: Your card share today is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! I swear I could reach out a pick those beautiful flowers that you created. Many THANKS for sharing!
Oh...to go to a stamp show. Lucky you. I love your card. What a great color combo. I was sad to see blush blossom retired. I have a little stash of it and use very sparingly. Using it for a flower is a great idea.
Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful Card !
