A Forgotten Thank You

Happy May to All!

Have you ever purchased something, actually put it away (where it belongs) and then forget you have it?  Happens to me all the time.  I just came across this Stampin’ Up Thank You Die.  I know that I have had it a while because I can’t even remember when I bought it.  lol

I tried my hand at a little diagonal layering, matting everything in Old Olive.  For those of you that think I can tie a bow…..think again.  lol  Certainly didn’t get this one right, those tails needed to be turned around.  *smile*

However, I think I got this flower right.  I began punching the flower base with the Fancy Flower punch in Whisper White.  On top of that came a stamped image (after paper piercing) from the Posy Punch set.  And topped it all off with a cluster of Boho Blossom punches sponged and cupped using Blush Blossom (yes…..still hoarding it) card stock and ink.  I think adding the small punched circles at the center of each petal was kind of putting the icing on the cake.

Looking at it all a little closer ~

Now I am off to see what else I have forgotten about.  LOL

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,  I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Another job well done!! The diagonal look is great but the added Blush Blossom pieces really set it off. The flower steals the show :o)

I know exactly what you are talking about!!! Been there many of times and I'm sure there are goodies tucked away right now.

I love the angled look of your card! An eye catcher for sure!

Hope all is well. I've missed checking out your blog. I hope to get back into my routine by the end of the month.
