Pairing Hello, Doily and a Floret

We’re almost thru yet another week.  Which means another weekend is just around the corner…..YEAH!

As far as I can tell, Fabulous Florets did not make the retirement list…..another big YEAH!  It’s one of my favorites.

Between this stamp set and heat embossing the Hello, Doily stamp, I could sit and make cards all day.  *smile*  This card was first stamped with the En Francais background stamp and it’s edges sponged.  Took the Doily stamp using Versamark and heat embossed it with white EP.  Some fussy cutting gave me a popped up ~ Fabulous Floret, focal point.

You know I keep mentioning that stamp show I went to recently, but I found some of the neatest things that day.  Example:  I never knew Stampin’ Up ever had a 1/4” square punch…..but I found one that day.  Put it to use in the upper right hand corner with the pearl flatbacks.

As nice as the outside is, I struggled with the inside.  I ended up using a sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

This card is pretty much straight forward.  Hopefully, maybe I have given you yet another way to use the Fabulous Floret Stamp set, I hope so.

Please feel free to email me with your questions, I’m more than glad to share anything I know that might help you along the way.  *smiles*

Next week……eeeeeek!  Mice are in the house!

Linda, this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the embossed doily, it gives it a wonderful vintage look! You really have a way of adding flowers to your card, so pretty! I never knew SU had that little square punch either, I love how you used it with the pearls! You have now convinced me I HAVE to have the Doily stamp!

Just beautiful! I was on the fence about the doily stamp, but seeing it here, it looks REAL! Great job! That gingham ribbon & bow seal the deal!

Such a pretty card Linda! Love the little square punch accent you put at the upper right hand corner of your card - LOOKS GREAT! Can't wait to see your mice post for next week. I for one will be waiting for your post!

Well, I did purchase the doily EF but I talked myself out of the doily stamp because I thought it was close enough to the medallion. Nope. After seeing this card I know I must have it :o) GREAT JOB (as usual!!) Enjoy your weekend.

I love this card, wish we had all the stamps you've used here in the UK book. You've certainly given me some inspiration for the use of the tiny square punch.

Such a pretty card. I have fussy cut the flowers before on the Fab Floret set, but never the stem. Now I can't wait to try it! That doily is so pretty set on one of my all time favorite backgrounds!

Linda, this is a really beautiful card....your 'fussy cutting' is amazing... I also found the 1/4" square punch and my friends thought I was nuts getting it...but look how pretty under the pearls...thank you for continuing to inspire me (us)....
