A Smiling Face

Spring is just around the corner.   That alone puts a smile on my face!  With that in mind, my card today reflects spring and smiling faces.

ENJOY!

011

Using the Fancy Flower punch and accenting it with the Flower Blossom die I was able to create just the right size for this smiling face.  For Spring colors I paired Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz adding bright yellow checkered ribbon from my stash. I cut the leaves from a circle punch, cutting once and then reinserting the punched piece to trim just a small portion of the circle to form the leaf.  A CB EB folder made the side panel, then added the yellow centers to each flower in order to match the larger flower. Peachy Keen provides the face which I clear embossed and added rosy cheeks.

Looking on the inside ~

I used the same CB EB folder on the inside only reversing the colors.

Hope this card puts a smile on your face!! *smile*

Supplies needed ~

  • Card stock – W. White, D. Delight and P. Pizzazz
  • Punches – Fancy Flower, Flower Blossom Die and Circle Punches
  • Misc. – Peachy Keen Stamps, CB EB Folders and Ribbon from my stash

I haven’t done any tutorials to date.  I keep thinking I will get to that one day; but, if you should have any questions (i.e. making the leaves) just a quick email to me and I’ll send you full details.

Hoping all is well with each of you!  Be healthy, safe and try to take time for what makes you happy!

I love the yellow and white combination. It is so fresh looking. The flower embossed borer goes so well with the larger flower. Beautiful!
