Through Rain or Shine . . .

Have you ever bought a stamp that was one of those “Oh I have just got to have it” and then it sits forever!  Well here’s mine, I decided it was about time to put it to work. *smiles*

I guess I was thinking that it was more valentine appropriate.  But after looking at it, I think I was wrong, I see more possibilities after putting it on paper.

How did I get the red underneath each scallop?  Using my SU! 1/2” circle punch.  I punched and then cut each circle in half, added just a tad of Tom Bow glue and then tucked each one under the scallops.  Easy!  Silver flatbacks for a little bling.

I love a 3D look, stamped the umbrella again onto polka dotted paper heat embossed it with clear EP and popped it up with dimensionals.  Filled in her boots with my gel pen.

The inside sentiment reads ‘Through Rain or Shine you’ll always be mine’.

Funny how things turn out, today just happens to be a HUGE rainy day here on DELMARVA (Delaware-Maryland-Virginia) I’ll be needing my umbrella too!!!!!

HUGS to all ! !

Love your card today. Red, black and white always make a statement, but I think you kicked it up a notch by putting everything on the kraft color base card.
