Here’s a chuckle for you this morning with this card!  The weather here has been so crazy.  The biggest roller coaster ride that I’ve been on lately.  Today it’s like 8am and is 45 degrees and climbing.  I guess it’s mother nature’s way of letting you know what’s to come in the future.  So it all made me think of this card I did about a frog.  I kept thinking I wanted an umbrella for him and could never find one that suited me.  So I decided to use flowers as his cover.  Then spent so much time trying to figure out how to show rain dripping off the flowers on to his head, I gave it up and decided I would leave that up to the kind folks in blogger land to solve.  Let me know if you do, I would love to hear from you.
My ribbitt is way too big…..
Here is a quick little quide of punches needed for this frog:

This picture shows the pieces put together.
Don't forget to draw his face, add a little heart and to use a white gel pen on his eyes and heart.  If you don't have all these punches - play around with it - I bet you can come close *smile*
I hope you all have a Ribbitttt of a day and that Mother Nature is giving you a break as well….
Supplies needed ~ all are SU unless otherwise noted
  • Cardstock – V. Vanilla, O. Olive, R. Red, B. Black, D. Delight and E. Espresso
  • Stamp – Inspired by Nature
  • Ink – M. Mustard and E. Espresso and white gel pen
  • Misc – Various punches and CB die for letters and one small heart punch
Want to Share a little love…..
My daughter left me an email this weekend with the message that this song made her think of me ‘now how sweet is THAT!  Aren’t daughters the best!!!’ Anyway I am sharing the love with you……ENJOY
I have noticed that by clicking on the above link it doesn’t want to play the video, but that is the correct address in youtube.  Anyway, the song is by Bruno Mars, Just The Way You Are.  It’s a beautiful song.
Ya’ll come back now! *smile*  Thank you for visiting the ‘loft’ hope to see you again tomorrow!!
