Pretty In Pink

No, not the Pretty In Pink as we know it from SU! but still breaking out of those earth tone colors I went with pink in todays card.  Take a look -

I used the new EMF - Flower Garden, placing flowers from the Fabulous Floret Stamp Set on top.  Each flower was stamped with VersaMark then heat embossed with White EMP.  I used my VersaMark PEN and followed the stem lines from the embossing folder and heat embossed them using the white EMP.  These stems led the way to the flowers. ALWAYS REMEMBER to use your embossing buddy, it can sometimes be a mess if you don’t…..I’ve been there, done that!

From another angle ~

I tried every DSP in the book for the background and came up with nothing that suited, but I did dig deep enough to find the floral piece – the one that is just underneath the butterfly – it’s from an old Patterns Pack III that I had stashed away.  Eventually it all comes in handy doesn’t it! *smiles*

Inside ~

Again, I’m glad I always show the inside at an angle…..I always forget to mention which items are popped up with dimensionals.  On this card, it was the flowers.

Back to earth tones tomorrow – here’s a peek.

Thank you for the visit and all the kind comments and emails, I sincerely appreciate each and every one!!!
