If you happen to be a morning person and visiting me, here’s a little something to crow about at the crack of dawn ~
It’s the DSP, Beau Chateau…with some additional stamping, punching and distressing. I used a picked fence punch for the border on the left. The crimper for the ruffled look on the same border. Ol’e man rooster was punched out using circles punches. The Medallion stamp provides the background. While the Two Step Bird Punch gave me the foliage. All edges were sponged with Crumb Cake Ink.
Instead of using the usual flower on the card’s front, I choose to use a small heart collage in the same color scheme as the designer paper. There is a small flower collage on this same sheet of paper, but I choose to use it here…on the inside ~
Supplies needed – All are Stampin’ Up unless otherwise noted
- Card stock – S. Suede, V. Vanilla and Beau Chateau DSP
- Tools – Circle Punches, MS fence punch, Crimper, Two Step Bird punch and heart punches
- Stamp – Happy Greeting
So that’s my bit of crowing for today – hope you liked my feathered friend! Always remember I accept questions, comments and emails! *smiles*
Take Care and Happy Stamping
