A Harvest Hello

Here’s another card that I was able to get done during the tyrants of ‘Irene’.  No embellishments, No ribbon and No fussy cutting, I just colored and colored.  I was in a copic mode, please keep in mind I am just learning and I have a long way to go, BUT it’s NOT SO BAD! *smile*

He looked a little out of sorts with NOTHING extra, so I decided to punch a couple little leaves and throw in a small flower for his shoulder.

Here’s looking a little closer ~

003

His face is a little blotchy looking to me.  I was going for a faded/dirty grain sac look.  I think I missed the mark, but still – it’ll pass don’t you think?  The stamp came from a company that was going out of business, the small leave punch is MS and the yellow flower is from the Itty Bitty Punch set.

I did not do anything to the inside because………I couldn’t make up my mind as what to do!  Sometimes, less is better and I just left it alone.

Just a quick little post today, we are still in a clean up mode around here, but thank goodness it is NOTHING compared to what some folks have even with our eleven inches of rain.

Take Care and Thanks for all the prayers, they were greatly appreciated!!

Oh how sweet, he is so cute. I think you are doing a fabulous job with your copics! Your coloring is awesome. I love the added flower and leaf and of course that cute little sunflower on his hat!! Hugs,

This is so cute Linda! I don't have copics, but I think it looks great. I like to watercolor with pencils. Super simple and great for fall. The leaf looks like my CM leaf punch. We had no mess from the storm, just me finishing up my room. I am done and hopefully gonna post picture of it finished today.

Wow, I LOVE the card! Is the company you got the stamp from already out of business? If not, I'd love to get one! Great job!

He really needed that leaf and flower! And just a few strands of wheat on the inside of the card would be great.
