Lucky Limeade and Pool Party

Aren’t these just the best colors!  I absolutely love them, I have been in an earth tone mode lately and needed to take a break.

Take a look . . .

I put the new stamp set ‘Posey Punch’ to work.  I combined the stamps with the In Color DSP and Whisper White - accented with several silver flatbacks and Whisper White satin ribbon.  I also remembered I had an EMF that matched the bottom stamp.  Did you notice?  To make things a little simpler I inlaid my stripped paper all at the same time.  It definitely shows up better on the plain white.  Also, using my blender pen, I added a little Pool Party to the flowers on the left.

Here’s looking a little closer . . .

I staggered the punched pieces at different heights.  The one on the bottom lies flat to the card stock while the one just above it was mounted with one SU! dimensionals and the one on the left was mounted just a little higher – using two SU! dimensionals, one on top of the other.

Here’s a better look . . .

I have a question for all the stampers out there who use these gold and silver flatbacks……where are you getting them?  I used to get them at our local craft store but no more!  I have been asked “where do you get yours”?  Well I stock piled them, each time they were on sale I bought several.  But I to am about to run out.  So this is a good tip for the designers at Stampin’ Up…..add them to the catty! *smile*  Send me an email I would love to know where you get yours!!

Email Me!!

Thanks for stopping by, I sincerely appreciate each and every visit!

I love your card and that color combination is great. Like Cynthia I have bought the gold & silver pearls at Michael's, also Hobby Lobby has a good supply of gems. Archiver's also has a good supply and you can order on line.

Beautiful color combination that made for a gorgeous card, Linda! I always like your embellishments ... classy! I have not bought flatbacks before. I use brads and get those through Stampin' Up and other craft stores.

Oh I love this carad and the colors are awesome!!! I've been wanting to use this stamp set too, just haven't had the time. I was going to email you with this very question about the silver half backs... I just got some from online and they are tarnished... sending back. I can't find them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, locally. Scrapadoodle can't find them either for me. Let me know if you find some. Hugs,
