It’s The “Pals September Hop”

Welcome! This month, we're featuring Fall and Halloween inspired projects! Enjoy the hop and the amazing creations that the Pals have come up with for your enjoyment.

You have likely hopped over  from the very talented Barb Furlong at http://www.theloveofstamping.com

I'm stop number 9 on the Pals Hop and I'm glad you hopped in! I'll help you "hop along" from blog to blog where you'll find great ideas for Fall and Halloween paper projects from the Stampin' Pretty Pals! Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you'll be back on track!

Looking ahead to Halloween and thinking about the kids in my neighborhood that I like to provide something extra special for, I came up with these matchbox fun size M&M wrappers.  Hope you enjoy!

         003

The wrapper’s measurements are:

  • 9 1/4” x 3”
  • scored at:  4”, 4 1/4” and 8 1/2”

Decorate as you wish!

The mask on this little kitty is NOT my idea but isn’t it just the cutest!!
I found the mask over at Cristena Bagne’s blog: http://www.gettincrafty.com/.  It’s the curly label punch cut in half and popped up  with your dimensionals – simple!

Look a little closer ~

        004

And for the inside goodies ~

                      002

So now I have to tell you…Some days I get it just right and then there are those days when things sour from beginning to end.  Take another  look at the kitty.  Do you notice anything?  Your right, NO WHISKERS! lol  I kept looking and looking at him thinking is something missing???  It did not dawn on me until after EVERYTHING was done, even this posting that I had left his whiskers off.  I hope I have better luck next time and I’m hoping the kids won’t notice!

Hop along for more inspiring ideas from the amazing Mike Funke at http://stampin-style.typepad.com/stampin-style, stop number 10 on the September Pals Hop!

Thanks for "hopping" by!     And don’t forget YOUR whiskers!!

Very cute! I have to say I didn't notice the whiskers, so I think your secret is safe! Love the project! I think I should get going on that for my kids in the neighborhood too! Maybe I can have a kids' class planned for after and stick the ad in with the candy! Love it!

Great use of punches. Your card is so cute that I don't think anyone would have noticed the lack of whiskers. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

I love this! Would also love a little more explanation about the punches you used and how to put the kitty together. (Unless it's somewhere else that I don't know about.) Thanks so much for sharing this.

Oh Linda, you've done it again! This is ADORABLE! I actually thought the mask was the top of the owl punch....good thing I read it through! And I think you could just draw on the whiskers...right? Too much hassle to cut those little things! LOL!

Your card is so cute. Clever mask for Kitty now no one will know her identity. Functional card, the outside makes you smile and the inside makes your tummy smile.
